Jan Dagley
The work displayed on this site formed part of an MA in Ceramics at UCA in Farnham, completed in September, 2021 and for which I was awarded a Distinction. My current work will be uploaded once it has been professionally photographed.
Jan Dagley is a painter and ceramicist who responds to perfume in two and three dimensions. Based on synaesthesia, where one sense activates other senses, she is currently collaborating with the perfume house Parterre, to explore artistically the colours, shapes, smells and textures of their four signature perfumes.
Jan's aim to provide an engaging and immersive experience for her audience. She is also interested in enhancing the art experience for the visually impaired. With this in mind, she also has an exhibition scheduled for Moorfields Eye Hospital in London in 2022.
