Cove Gallery is a well-established, well-loved contemporary art gallery located on the bustling South Harbourside in Weymouth.
Our ethos is to support local artists and makers based in Dorset and the wider South West region. With a varied portfolio comprising painters, glass-makers, ceramicists, sculptors and jewellers, we have built a large and loyal customer base across the UK and further afield.
Our small, beautiful gallery gets huge footfall, especially during the summer months, and the Harbour acts as host to a string of annual celebrations and festivals. Weymouth also benefits from up to fifty cruise ships each year bringing in tourists from all over the world, particularly the USA.
With an up-date, reliable e-commerce website driven by Shopify, we have a strong and growing online offer with a range of delivery options for customers. We actively promote our artists’ work through our website, social media, email newsletters, and magazine adverts and features.
We are also members of the Arts Council’s excellent Own Art scheme, offering interest-free finance for our customers and opening up a huge new market for original work.
We are always open to working with new artists. We look for talented, authentic, professional artists who want to build a long-term working relationship. If you are an artist looking to exhibit with us, first of all take a good look through our website and consider how your work compares to our existing range of artists.
