For 25 years Jan was based in Warwickshire as a professional artist, also leading art classes, demonstrating her techniques to audiences throughout the UK.
Fulfilling a lifelong desire to be by the sea, based on the south coast in Dorset.
Jan is comfortable in any medium, but the constant theme in her work is the effect of light on her subject matter.
Her work brings together strong and beautiful colour combinations, which transport viewers into a familiar but even more beautiful reality.
