After studying Fine Art at Bournemouth, Joyce Ringrose initially started her art career in ceramics and established a pottery, but eventually came back to painting in 1995.

Joyce's work is mainly in acrylics and is largely concerned with coastal landscape. The cliffs, quarries, beaches and harbours of Dorset, Devon and Cornwall are a constant source of inspiration. Her bold use of colour creates joyful painting from our beautiful surroundings.
