Paul Jenkins

Paul Jenkins is one of Britain's leading animal sculptors, and over a long career has developed an international reputation. His inspiration comes from a love of nature, and many of his pieces are inspired from direct observations of wild animals in their natural habitat.

Born in the West Midlands, Paul’s began sculpting in wood and then later in clay and wax. He went on to work as a commercial designer, undertaking commissions for institutions such as the Metropolitan Museum in New York and the National Trust, as well as producing large scale designs for bars and night clubs.

A completely self-taught artist, Paul never fails to surprise with his experimental approach to glazed pottery and fascinating new bronze works.
