Large Teapot

Coil-built large stoneware teapot with textured glaze. This statement piece is glazed in mint green on the inside and on the outside its textures are created by a mix of glazes reactions and grits developed and applied by the artist. 

For over 20 years David Brown was the heads of ceramics department at Yeovil Collage in which he taught many pupils the art of making a teapot. By applying his glazes and textures that are characteristic of David's current work and research, this teapot is an homage to those teaching years.
