Becky Blake is a Weymouth-based artist and illustrator, working in a variety of materials including watercolour, pastels, acrylics and oils. With qualifications in both Fine Art and Graphic Design, Becky is an accomplished artist, with a particular interest in wildlife and portraiture.
“I look at the shape of the subject, not just the outline but the shadows, tones, textures. I use my instincts to help get a feel for what I want to create, then choose the most appropriate media and materials for the subject. My overall aim is to reflect personality of the subject, be it human, mammal, bird or even fish."
