Hand-build stoneware set of nesting platters fired in a wood filled kiln.
This piece is made of four nesting platters that are food safe.

The process of wood firing pieces carries the story of the firing. Through the ashes that lands in the glaze and burnishes the vase, the seashells marks left at the bottom of the vase- as each piece must be carefully placed on top of seashells - the position inside the kiln and the influence of the flames -therefore no fire will ever be the same.
