RNLI Charity Raffle - UpHaullya!

To celebrate the Weymouth Lifeboat's 150th Anniversary, Cove Gallery in association with artist Jan Nelson and the RNLI, is holding a Charity Raffle of an original Jan Nelson painting. All proceeds from the raffle will go to the RNLI.

UpHaullya! is a dramatic acrylic painting on 1 metre square box canvas - a classic action-packed Jan Nelson seascape. Normally this painting would retail at Cove Gallery for upwards of £1500.

Jan, who is keen sailor with strong Weymouth connections, says: " UpHaullya! is a nod to the Celtic me, and the Uphaul is the rope used to pull up the pole which the spinnaker is attached to - sailors will know! "

In addition to the first prize of the original painting, Jan has generously donated 6 Limited Edition Giclée Prints worth £300 each. The mounted prints are 72 x 72 cm and will be specially remarqued by Jan.

Individual raffle tickets priced £1 each are available at Cove Gallery and the Weymouth Lifeboat Station Shop on the South Harbour.

Alternatively books of 10 raffle tickets can be bought online at this link.
