David Hunt was born in Northampton, England, in 1968, and aspired to be an artist from an early age. Aged sixteen, the 80s workaday world demanded ‘get a real job’, sideswiping his youthful passion and skill in painting and drawing with a career that apparently saved him from being a starving artist. David became a computer repair engineer.
Today, after graduating with a first-class BA honours award in Fine Art Painting and Drawing, his work reflects a disdain of windowless factories fixing computers through the abstraction and distortion of landscape painting.
Now, following a serious heart attack, David has begun to return the space in which he lives amid the tranquillity of nature's scenery. His latest series of landscape and seascape paintings reveal the hidden talent of a lifelong dream.
